Hello, so you made it to my page...
Well if I don't know you, then it's very nice to meet you!
My name is Melinda Jo Maucelli aka Mindy Maucelli.
I was born on September 23, 1963 in Kansas City, MO at St. Mary's Hospital at 8:29 a.m. Weighing a whopping 7# 10 oz., and was 20" long.
I had 2 sisters waiting for me at home. Ann Marie Maucelli (December 14th, 1960), and Donna Rae Maucelli (January 7th, 1962)
My mom, and dad (Marion, and Linda Maucelli) had no idea what they were in for.

I have lived in Kansas City all my life, I hate cold weather (always have) so I have no idea why I stayed. All I can figure is that when I was 12 years old my mom, and dad wouldn't let me move out of the state, but I would have..(as a matter of fact, I tried to move out of the house and into the woods down the street earlier than that.) Then at 18 I got old enough to move, but I married my sweetheart (Brad Sears) and had a baby instead...(that would be 'Dustin', my incredible son born on September 5th, 1982.), then I got a divorce (September 24, 1984), and I could have moved...But I had no money to move, and had a child. Well now I am all grown up, Dustin is grown up, and I'm still here... What the HELL am I thinking?
Yes, I am 44 years old now..ARGHHHHH.. (I don't feel it though)
What I don't understand is "Why is it that you grow up, have a little money to do things, you're smarter, but then you get wrinkles!!!" That is nothing but a sick joke!
I live in Liberty, MO (The historical town where Jesse James robbed his first bank. Which, by the way, is located just down the street from me) in a little tiny, teeny weeny, cottage in the woods.. I love it here, and will probably die here, unless I outgrow it first. (which could be the case) I bought this house after I ended an 8 year relationship with the man that I thought I would spend the rest of my life with.. I loved him so much, and I still do! But things happened, and they couldn't be fixed.. (but we'll save that one for later). Anyway, I bought this house from him..(my ex) It was our rental house, and it was a dump! (you will find photo's on the random page.) Anyway, my sister Ann, and I proceeded to start this project. She had already done her house, and apparently was bored so she started helping me with mine. It ended up an entire summer worth of fun times, and VERY hard work. We worked all day, every day on this place until 4 or 5 am when we could. That was the summer of 2005.. (wow, it doesn't really seem that long ago)
This house was originally bought to sell... Well, that's not exactly how it went.
I ended up liking it so much that here I am... I'm going to skip ahead in time
, and tell you about the BEST night of my entire life.
I met the 'Man of my Dreams' on March 22, 2008 in Holt, MO at a place called Hilltop Bar & Grill.
My son had been trying to get me to go out forever, and the night I did it changed my life forever.
I met Mark Brown.
He was playing in the bar that night.
He plays bass guitar in a band called 'Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders'.
He is the most incredible man I have ever met in my entire life. He treats me better than any man has ever treated me. I just hope he can say the same for me, I think he can.
It certainly started out fun, I walked in and THERE HE WAS.. I had intended on going to see the singer because I thought he was cute, and my son had been raving about how great this band was, so I decided to go, and see for myself..
But everything changed when I walked in and saw Mark.. He knocked me off my feet.. I had to hang out and see if he was with anyone, hoping that he wouldn't be, THANK GOD he wasn't.. I finally asked a friend to ask him to come over to talk to me, he did immediately.
He was just as fun as he was beautiful.. I got the necessary information to be able to find him later, he had to go back up to play, he said he wanted to kiss me, he asked me to wait until he was done but instead I left. I promptly went home and found him on myspace. I added him as a friend, this was the night before Easter Sunday. The next morning he had added me as a friend, I sent him an email then he called because I sent my phone number in that email. The following Wednesday night (March 26, 2008) he had to go to Jim's to rehearse some new songs and we met afterwards at 'Arthur's' in Platte Woods. We left shortly afterwards to go somewhere a little more quiet, we ended up at 54th Street Bar and Grill on Barry Road & I-29. We stayed there until they had to kick us out, they were closing for the night. I took him back to his truck, he kissed me, then he left. We talked on the phone all the way home.
The following Friday night (March 28, 2008) he had to open for Billy Joe Shaver at Knuckleheads in Kansas City. He asked me to meet him there so I did. He got so drunk his truck ended up on the front lawn of a business off Chouteau Trafficway near Front Street in Kansas City, MO.
I drove him home after I finally convinced him to pull over. I almost walked away that night but for some strange reason (and SO UNLIKE MINDY) I stayed.. And I'm sure glad I did. I would have walked away from the best man that has ever been in my life..
After countless nights burning up the phone line between his house, and mine. And other, some hurtful, obsticles, here we are, together, madly in love with one another, and living together. I think this is the fastest, and probably the HARDEST I have ever fallen for any man in my life. I love him so much there are no words to express the way I feel.
All I can say is that I wish I had met him when Dustin was a little boy, he would have made a wonderful father to my son.
